She Loves You! Yeah! (25th - 27th October 2012, Harrogate Theatre)
Georgie, her Mum and her sister.
It’s the 60’s, it's summertime, and everyone knows everyone in Stoney Street! Which is great when you need a helping hand, but not so great when you don’t want anyone to know your business! Georgie Brown is a second hand rose; a shy misfit with no social skills and absolutely no self esteem! Her thoroughly miserable home life is as bad as you can imagine, with a drunken slob of a father and a mother who is willing to put up with his domineering, womanising ways for the security of a marriage! Her only escape from this misery is her love of music.
The antithesis of Georgie is Robbie Eastwood! One of those young lads who could charm the birds from the trees! Girls wanna be with him and guys wanna be him! He’s seeing Shaz, but fancies new girl in town, Amelia. However, his real passion is his music. He dreams of being the next big thing, and no girl is about to get in his way! Set to a backdrop of the best 60’s music, “SHE LOVES YOU YEAH!” is full of great music, fab dancing, and wonderful characters you’ll feel you know!
